We're open all year, and our breaks mostly follow the AISD calendar for holidays. We close for one week at the start and end of summer, plus we have scheduled breaks for parent volunteer and teacher development days.

A day at ABA consists of many activities such as gardening, science investigations, creating various art projects, imaginative free play, inquiry based learning, emotional awareness, social wisdom, expressive movement, cooking/ baking items from our garden, music and songs, and practicing yoga and meditation.
We also have a beautiful indoor work environment that the children will access for sensorial works, practical life, manipulatives, calming peace corner, creative arts, books and circle time. We model our mixed age group upon the Montessori philosophy.
The Afternoon Program consists of science activities, maintenance and harvesting of our garden, pre-reading, mathematics, nature journaling, movement, and various projects.
